Otolaryngology, also called otorhinolaryngology, is the study of diseases in the ear, nose, and throat (ENT), and related structures of the head and neck. Otolaryngology covers a range of conditions, such as hearing loss, sinus infection, or issues in speaking or swallowing. Otolaryngologists may also specialize in areas such as allergies, head and neck diseases, or sleep medicine.
