Women's Health
Women’s health refers to the overall health of women affected by physiological variables. In recent years, endometrial cancer and cervical cancer have become the most common cancers in women, which has aroused much public concern about gynecological health. Hormones impact women’s health, such as the female sex hormones, estrogen, and progesterone. They can influence the reproductive and sexual health of women during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. According to changes in the endocrine system, the risk of gynecological diseases increases with age. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage women to maintain a healthy lifestyle, have regular pap tests, and HPV testing to ensure the health of the uterus.
Breast cancer is the second leading cancer that occurs among women. Each year in the United States, about 40,000 women die from breast cancer, and about 200,000 women are screened for breast cancer. Women need to take a screening examination to prevent and lower the risk of breast cancer.
