Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Put On Pause

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine (Janssen) has been put on pause due to 6 cases where women have had severe blood clotting among the 6.8 million vaccinated.
If you have received the J&J vaccine and have developed severe symptoms within the last three weeks after vaccination, please contact your medical provider immediately. Symptoms include headaches, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath.
Pfizer's and Moderna's vaccines are still being distributed and have been effective in fighting against COVID-19. As of today, everyone 16 and older in California is eligible to get the vaccine. Schedule your vaccination appointment at your earliest convenience.
